Millions Of Americans Try To Hang On While Waiting For Second Stimulus Check

Millions of Americans are trying to make ends meet and avoid eviction while the government bickers over subtle differences in proposed second stimulus packages. Families are desperate to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads, while the Senate adjourned without coming to an agreement. So, the answer is, don’t expect another check until after Labor Day, if at all.

One Act was passed by Democrats back in May, but the Republicans consider it “an unserious product from an unserious majority.” You can see the three Acts below that the two parties are attempting to come to an agreement on. I don’t know about you, but the differences seem very slight to me. But, then again, I’m not a politician trying to create a “win.” I’m like millions of Americans trying to keep a business afloat while COVID-19 continues to mystify the scientists and medical community.

Take a look at the 3 different proposals below as posted at forbes.com and see what you think about the differences. In the meantime, while the Senate is away, who knows how many Americans will not only be infected with COVID-19, but also be displaced from their homes, lose their businesses, fall behind in paying their bills and be unable to feed their families.
